At The Foundry a healthy lifestyle is an important piece to complete recovery.

Our wellness program includes nutrition, fitness and active lifestyle. From hiking to gardening, acupuncture and diet, The Foundry recognizes the benefits of a complete recovery.

So what is our Health and Wellness program?

To begin, you will meet one on one with a certified fitness professional to gain the knowledge you need for your own ability. This assessment will help you and our Wellness Director design a program that is comfortable for you, while keeping your strengths and safety in the forefront.

We like to think of the Wellness Program as the gateway to having the life you want in recovery.  Treatment is the tools you are given to succeed while recovery is how you choose to use these tools.  The tools you will gain in our Wellness Program are abundant and varying giving you, our individual resident, the chance to find some new ways to participate in sober fun.  We like to stress the individual aspect from the very moment you step foot in our program.  The Clinical, Medical, and Family teams work together with the Wellness team to make sure all of your needs are met.

Let’s take a look at a week of wellness at the Foundry.  You will participate in 3 weekly workouts that include cardio, strength training, discipline, and mental focus.  Yoga will be practiced 3 times a week as well with first-class yogis to lead you in a nurturing supportive environment.  The fun doesn’t stop here.  Residents will enjoy a few more wellness outings each week depending on the season including volunteering and community outreach.
