If you have been struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, you may have considered rehab but wonder what that entails. Statistics show that the greatest predictor of achieving long-term abstinence is the length of time that someone spends in a therapeutic continuum of care. The Foundry Treatment Center's intensive residential treatment program spans 90-days and is located on a 48-acre ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Our approach to complete addiction treatment has 4 pillars - medical, clinical, wellness, and family. Our curriculum takes principles of the 12-steps and incorporates many evidence based and best practice modalities such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, Biosound Technology, Alpha-Stim, Biomat, yoga, physical fitness, equine, horticulture, family, and outdoor experiential therapy - all intended to address physical, mental, and spiritual needs.
The Foundry’s holistic approach is designed to treat the whole person. We begin by assessing your physical and spiritual health to determine your needs. Our clinical philosophy is to provide individualized treatment that can include: Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
The 12-step philosophy – the cornerstone of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and many other addiction treatment programs – is one of our core beliefs, and an integral component in the development of our continuum of care.
The Foundry incorporates a spiritual lifestyle through the practice of mindfulness and meditation. While these practices may feel uncomfortable at first, we find these tools greatly enhance the journey of addiction recovery. Yoga is another companion tool to aid in the shedding of unhealthy habits, overcoming triggers, and developing a positive sense of health and well-being.
With the practice of yoga, you will feel a true centering of your body, thoughts, and emotions. This sense of balance is a powerful tool in maintaining sobriety.
Because we may have harmed others while we were in our addictions, it is necessary to make amends to those we have injured. As a part of the 12-step process, we encourage service to others as a way of “giving back.” The process of recovery is never truly complete and by serving others, we continue our journey to wholeness.
At the Foundry, we support our community through a variety of charitable endeavors, including growing and donating food to the local food bank, assisting at various bike races and 5Ks, and volunteering our time at other charitable organizations, as needed.
We accept all major insurance companies on an out-of-network basis at The Foundry, including BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, United Health Group, and Cigna.
The Foundry Treatment Center is well equipped to help you find recovery and a healthy new lifestyle.
