Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment

At The Foundry, we’re committed to your success. After completing our extensive 90-day inpatient addiction treatment program, you’ll work one-on-one with a specialized addiction counselor to determine your best option for continuation of your drug and alcohol treatment.

Aftercare following inpatient rehab is vital for success, and it can significantly decrease the risk of relapse. Depending on your specific needs and your situation, you’ll be referred to the Foundry’s intensive outpatient treatment, commonly called IOP, or our step-down outpatient addiction treatment program.

Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment

After you complete residential addiction treatment at The Foundry, you and your counselor may determine that our intensive outpatient program best suits your needs. IOP at The Foundry is a 12-week addiction treatment designed to give you the skills and support you’ll need after completing inpatient rehab. This multiple-day-a-week aftercare program keeps your schedule structured and reinforces the principles and philosophies learned during your stay at The Foundry.

Our IOP addiction treatment is a mixture of group and individual counseling sessions, small group peer support, and 12-step principles. It typically ranges from 10 to 12 hours a week. This ensures that you have enough time to take care of your personal needs while still focusing on sobriety, keeping your recovery a priority. Outpatient addiction treatment is typically recommended after this 12-week program is completed.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Step-down outpatient addiction treatment at The Foundry provides the appropriate aftercare for some. Less intensive than IOP, step-down outpatient treatment helps you utilize the recovery skills you learned in inpatient rehab. It helps you overcome any barriers you may experience along the way.

In outpatient addiction treatment, you’ll meet one-on-one with a counselor who specializes in addictions. Through these meetings, you’ll continue to gain an understanding of your recovery, learn how addiction has impacted your life and relationships, and how to overcome it without having to neglect work or home responsibilities.
