Family involvement plays a huge role in recovery for both the individual in treatment and the family system as a whole. Every family situation and system is unique and through our family component we want to help families redefine what health and wholeness can look like for their family system as well as for individual members within the system.
Family members have an opportunity to be involved in The Foundry’s treatment both directly with as well as parallel to the family member in treatment. Our family component creates an opportunity for family members to openly discuss their experiences, their challenges and their own personal struggles through weekly phone/skype sessions with a licensed therapist. Families who participate will be offered the opportunity to engage in collaborative care, receive effective guidance and education to increase relational skills and receive assistance in translating and integrating these skills into the family system and home environment.
In addition to weekly support, The Foundry offers on campus family addiction treatment programs that include 1-3 day family intensives. This experience will be an exercise in re-building family ties in a healthy and supportive way. All family members are encouraged to identify with The Foundry which type of family intensive is best for them.
Through small groups, relating to shared experiences, this family program is an experience designed to help families feel supported and heard. Everyone will get a clear picture of what individuals go through in the treatment process, as well as a path for themselves moving forward. Through education, connection and personal responsibility, family members will have the opportunity to craft their own next steps and begin the process of “family recovery”.
The Foundry Treatment Center’s drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs will provide you with a comprehensive program, a plan for continued recovery post-treatment, and hope for a brighter future.
