Addiction is a devastating disease, but there is help. If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction, you should know that there is hope — and help. In our society, drug and alcohol abuse rates are higher than ever. Just take a look:
Alcohol abuse also continues to cause serious health, family, and economic problems in the U.S. More than 10 percent of children live in families that include a member with a drinking problem. Each year, approximately 88,000 deaths are attributed to alcohol-related causes, making it the third leading cause of preventable deaths. Nearly half of all liver disease deaths are caused by alcohol misuse.
Quitting an addiction on your own is certainly possible but difficult. Meanwhile, your professional life suffers, relationships deteriorate, and your physical and emotional health continue to decline. Some addictions, including alcohol and opioids, are so severe that they require professional intervention and a medical detox treatment. And once you do achieve sobriety, you’re at risk of relapse if you haven’t been equipped with the right tools to overcome triggers and control cravings.
When choosing a residential treatment program, it’s important to know if the facility provides aftercare services and outpatient programs. Since addiction can be a persistent, chronic disease, an ongoing continuum of care is essential. Further, if you have multiple conditions such as a dual diagnosis, it’s necessary to have that addressed in your treatment program as well.
The Foundry Treatment Center provides a 90-day residential program for recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. After a consultation with our team of medical professionals, we can determine if you require a detox plan prior to entering the residential program. The Foundry also offers aftercare through an intensive 12-week outpatient program. Your specific plan of aftercare will be determined in consultation with your therapist.
Alcohol and drug dependency are recognized as medical diseases by the American Medical Association. Since passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), insurance coverage for substance abuse treatment has been expanded, so your stay at a residential treatment center may be covered by your insurance in whole or in part. The Foundry will work with all major insurance companies to obtain coverage on an out-of-network basis. If you are in need of financial assistance, we can work with you to find an appropriate program to meet your financial needs.
Our admissions team can assist you with understanding all aspects of our programs, financing, insurance coverage, and other questions regarding your stay at The Foundry.
